Making jewelry!

Brit picked up the hobby of making jewelry a few months back (she's done quite a lot already! cute stuff too!) and then while we were on our girls trip in Boston, she said we should start doing girls nights once a month a make jewelry together! It was an awesome idea, so last week we decided to get all the tools and pick out our beads and style that we wanted to make. That ended up taking the whole night, we didn't actually MAKE anything haha! But we had a blast looking at all the different things you could do! I had no idea that making jewelry could be so involved. The necklace that I chose to do was a little difficult for just a beginner so I decided to practice this weekend since we are having another girls night this week to actually put our necklaces together. So I made my first necklace! And I really enjoyed doing it too! It was fun. Here is a picture of my first creation. I had to sort of wing part of it, because I bought different beads than the directions wanted me to use, but I think it ended up pretty cute! I've already worn it twice and gotten compliments on it. What a fun new hobby Brit introduced to me!
