Short and Sweet

I have a few minutes to actually blog! Yay! These days, I am working lonnnng hours (for FREE), sleeping very little, and doing lots of homework/practicing preps. I have very little time to make dinner and clean my house...and my poor puppy. The time that she does get with me is when I'm sleeping. (right after I get home from work, and at night) Can't wait until mid-December when I will be done! Let's just say that I've been very busy and lots of things have been happening! So I thought I would give a short and sweet update on a few positive things that are going on in our lives (very random, but positive!):


Here is my badge that I have to wear at all times while in the hospital, plus it gives me access everywhere and that's necessary too.


Here is proof of our one and only zucchini that we got out of our mini-garden. We have two little yellow squash starting. I'm crossing my fingers that they mature before winter!


And last but not least, it was my wonderful husband's birthday September 19th! Happy birthday Jordan!! I am the luckiest girl alive to be married to him. :) It was a really fun day. We invited both of our families over. Everyone brought food and it felt like Thanksgiving, except the main course was Lamb Curry! Yummo! (Jordan's request and it was a hit! We all loved it!) I'm sorry this is the only picture that I have from that day because we were so busy! I was up at seven to start cleaning and cooking and didn't get a chance to sit down until like 9 o'clock at night! But it was great! I was so happy to be able to make the day successful too because I had to work six days that week and was sick the whole week too. It was a tough one to get through and I really had no weekend to re-group, so this past week was torture, but oh well! So I apologize for my face in this picture...I look like a zombie. That's pretty much how I look everyday right now hahaha. But it's ok. The internship is going great, I'm getting to know so many awesome nurses and doctors, and I'm learning sooo much. Before I switch units, I will get pictures of me with my supervisors in those units so you can kind of see what I've been up to. But for now, that's all folks! I'm going to go back to the couch and relax for what's left of my precious weekend! :)
