End of Summer Fun

SO sad that summer is ending...but we have had a fun one this year! Here are our two more recent activities: HAIRSPRAY We went as a family to a local production at the Sandy Amphitheater of Hairspray. It was a lot of fun. We got blankets and chairs and camped out of the lawn.
UTAH FOOTBALL GAME We attended the first Ute game of the season against Montana. Oh yeah, we whooped their booties. :) The game was sold out and packed. It was a sea of red. Awesomeness.
Lastly, me, my mom and Brit have decided to start our own little book club. It's super casual, but I think it's going to be great. We have decided to meet once a month, have dinner and discuss our book together. Our first meeting was this past Wednesday on the book Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen. HIGHLY recommended. (in fact I would recommend all of her books. I flew through them all.) It was first given to me by a friend of mine at work and I flew through it in two days. It is a fun, realistic story, with a little bit of magic. I LOVED it. And so I had my mom and Brit read it, who also flew through it as well. That's when we decided to start our book club.
Our book that we are going to read for the month of September is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. An old classic-romantic suspense. I first read the book in elementary school and then again as a sophomore in high school. So it's been a while, but I absolutely loved it and I'm so excited to read it again.
