Done with school, for real this time.

I'm feeling so good right now I just had to share. I finished my last final EVER last night and I feel great about it too! I never have to go back to another class, study or take another test again! Well, technically after my internship, I will have to take my certification test, but that's it! I'm so excited to be done. When I graduated in May 2008 with my Bachelor's, I just new inside of me that I wasn't done yet. I took a year and a half off of school and then finally got my butt back in gear. It was a needed break, but sometimes I wish I would have just stuck it out and done it all at one time so that maybe I could be all the way done right now and in my career. But oh well. Like I said, I don't know how well I would have done in school if I had kept going at that point. I was so burned out. And since I decided to go back to school last fall, everything has just fallen into place, so I think it was good timing. But yeah, it feels SO good to know that I'm done with school!! For real this time. :)

Updates on us: Not a whole lot, except school and internship stuff with me. I just applied for my internship at Primary Children's Medical Center last week- crossing fingers! I'm not holding my breath though because the odds are totally against me. I'm just praying at this point! When I got the application and they came and talked to us in one of my classes, the committee that looks at the applicants told us that it is a nationwide program, so I have no idea who I'm competing against. Also, they only take 1 MAYBE two students a semester, sometimes they don't take anyone if they don't feel like anyone applying is ready. Bleh. I've decided if it's meant to be, then it will happen because I just can't stress about it anymore haha. So wish me luck! I will just keep applying until I get it. We'll see how it goes.
We had a pretty lame Cinco De Mayo unfortunately, due to me. I had my final and by the time I got home it was late, so we just went and got us some Taco Bell. Woohoo! haha

Anyway, other than that, nothing really going on. Our two year anniversary is coming up soon though! We are excited about that and to take some time off work and relax.
