All kinds of stuff.

There's so much for me to catch up on! But the last two weeks have been amazing! First of all, I finished my internship at Primary's!!!! I AM DONE. I'm so proud of myself for doing it too. It was one of the hardest experiences in my life. But I did it. So much happened. I learned more than I ever have before. I experienced every human emotion. There were two points during the internship where I asked my wonderful husband to actually give me a blessing so that I could keep going and stay strong. One of my supervisors told me "This isn't just an internship, it's endurance training." Yep, pretty much. But now I can say that I'm done and I did it! I couldn't stop smiling for days afterwards. I've applied for a job and just waiting for a call back now. If I get this job, it will be amazing- praying very hard!! :) Anyway, after I completed the internship, I decided some celebration was needed. My sweet, sweet husband took me shopping (my favorite thing) and then to dinner. The very next day my family wanted to celebrate with me too so we went out to The Pie for dinner. Yum!

After the internship ended, began the Christmas festivities! First there was dinner with Jordan's family. I didn't get any pictures, but it was a lot of fun to see everyone as usual and lots of good food. Then we went with my immediate family (minus Brit) to Disneyland and Universal Studios!!! It was amazing. Probably one of my most favorite Christmas's ever. It was seriously so much fun. On the way down to CA, we stopped in Las Vegas for the Utah vs. Boise State bowl game and then an Elvis cirque du soleil show. The game was very sad since we lost of course, but it was expected against Boise St. But it was still a fun experience! We froze our butts off in the rain, but it was fun. The show afterwards was awesome as well! Lots of fun Elvis music (my family loves Elvis!) and good times.

The next day we were off to Disneyland! My favorite place I swear! I hadn't been in years too. I was having withdrawls, seriously. To sum it up, we had so much fun. :) We spent three days there, got on all the rides we wanted to, saw the funny show in the Saloon, Cheesecake factory for Christmas Eve dinner, experienced the Haunted Mansion decorated at Nightmare Before Christmas for the first time, and ate those delicious churros. It was absolutely magical being there during Christmas time. They have the entire place decorated beautifully and the castle looked amazing. During the shows at night, they have fireworks and snow falling in the streets. It's so gorgeous. Here are lots of pictures in random order. :) Oh and I apologize for the lack of quality in my photos. We forgot our camera, so they are all IPhone pictures haha!

(We watched Nutcracker on Christmas morning. One of my favorites.) :)

After three days of Disneyland, we needed a break, so we took a day off and just lounged around the hotel before heading to Universal Studios. Me and Jordan spent most of the day in our room watching all three Godfather movies, but stopped to take a break to head down to Starbucks and to feed the birds.

After all that fun, we headed towards Universal Studios for a day of fun in Hollywood. I hadn't been to Universal Studios since I was in high school, so most of the old rides that I was used to were gone, but the new ones that are there now are a blast! We just spent one day there and it was freezing, but it was fun! Oh and we had "front of the line" passes. These are incredible. They are not just like Disneyland fast passes, they are literally FRONT OF THE LINE passes. We didn't wait for a single ride, which means we got on all of them, included the studio tour in seconds. AMAZING. Especially since Christmas time means LOTS OF PEOPLE so all of the lines were at least a two hour wait. Those passes are so worth the money if you ever go! Here are a ton more pictures. haha

But it was awesome to come home to my sweet Sadie girl too. I always miss her so much. :) Anyway, I hope everyone else had an awesome Christmas too! 2011 is coming soon! Can't wait!

Thanksgiving....and stuff.

Hello all! So this post consists of minimal pictures because I have been a crazy busy lady lately! I haven't taken a single picture since Halloween, so I apologize! (All the pictures I have are from other people haha) But I got done with my written assignments early this weekend, so I thought I would at least post an update on what's happening with the Tandrians. :)

Really there's not a whole lot NEW going on with us...just the same ol' stuff- me working my butt off at the hospital and Jordan working too. On the plus side, I only have TWO more weeks of my internship left!!!! I'm just LITTLE excited about it. :) I'm so close to being done I can taste it.

Thanksgiving was fun this year. Since my mom is currently in school as well, she felt a little overwhelmed with planning Thanksgiving this year, so I volunteered to do it at my house as long as I had help with people bringing food too. So we did it at my house this year! It was my first time hosting Thanksgiving dinner. It was really simple, just my immediate family and grandparents. But it was great. I didn't take any pictures, shame on me. But oh well. Next year I will be better about that. I was proud that I successfully made my first turkey. All the food was excellent. And better yet, the left overs lasted us a week, plus some! I froze a bunch of turkey and ham for later use, which I'm very excited about! I love Thanksgiving. We also went to Jordan's side of the family dinner too which was also very yummy. It's always good to see them, even though this year was pretty small on his side too. Just a very chill Thanksgiving holiday this year.

Black Friday was fun. We had no intention of going shopping, but around noon, decided to go out and brave the crowds, just to SEE what was out there. We mostly ended up clothes shopping, but it was fun. Jordan also got glasses! For years now, his sight has been getting worse and worse, finally he decided to go get an eye exam and sure enough, he's near sighted and needs glasses. He can't stand the idea of putting something in his eye, so contacts won't work, so glasses it is until we can afford Lasik! :) He tried on a million frames and finally we found some that look great on him. He's still getting used to wearing them, but thoroughly enjoying seeing clearly again. :) Here's a pic of him in his new glasses!

After shopping we went to eat at Red Robin and then finished the day watching the movie Grown Ups (which wasn't as good as we hoped..too bad). It was a fun day! Saturday we went to a baptism and it was great to see our close friends from CA. We did some more shopping after that, went to see the new Harry Potter (woot!) and then watched the end of the Utah vs. BYU game. That was a crazy close game...but I'm glad we won. Go Utes! :) My parents have season tickets, so they of course were at this game and my dad was all decked out in his Ute stuff. He sent me this picture after the game. Haha! Cracks me up.

Sunday we had a birthday dinner with the family for Brit! Happy birthday Brit! We ate yummy food and played the game Blurt! That game is hilarious. I actually really enjoyed it.

Other than that, I've just been focused on my written assignments and other things I need to accomplish before the next week is up for my internship! Then I'm super super super excited for my family's Christmas plans!! We are going to DISNEYLAND! So excited. I haven't been in years and it's so not cool. I miss it! So me and my family are going to spend Christmas in Disneyland. It's also our way of celebrating that I'm done and my mom only has one semester left of school then she graduates! Lots of very exciting things are about to happen! Can't wait.

Anyway, those are the Tandrian/Holmes updates. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I'm enjoying having my house decorated like Christmas now! I can't wait for Cali!
